What is LiveVods?
LiveVods is an automated live stream recorder and VOD archive. Add any creator and we'll record every stream they go live — you can watch, clip, and download recordings at your convenience.
Is LiveVods free to use?
Yes. The free plan lets you follow up to 3 streamers, records at up to 720p, and keeps recordings for 7 days. Premium plans unlock higher quality, more streamers, and longer retention.
Which platforms do you support?
We currently support Twitch, Kick, YouTube, TikTok, AfreecaTV, Bilibili, Twitcasting, Pandalive, FlexTV, CZK, and Douyin. We're regularly adding more.
Do I need to install any software?
No. LiveVods is entirely browser-based. Our servers do all the recording in the cloud — you just log in and manage everything from your browser.
What happens if a streamer changes their username?
Our system tracks streamers by their platform ID where possible, but on some platforms (like TikTok) a username change requires you to manually re-add the streamer. We'll notify you if recording stops unexpectedly.
How long are recordings stored?
Free plan recordings are kept for 7 days. Starter plan keeps recordings for 30 days. Pro plan keeps them for 90 days. You can protect individual recordings to prevent deletion, or clip moments to save indefinitely.
Can I watch a stream while it's still live?
Recordings become watchable after the livestream ends and processing finishes. This keeps LiveVODS focused on clean archives, clips, and replay.
Can I download recordings?
Yes. All plans allow downloading the full video file. Premium users get faster download speeds and can download in source quality.
What recording quality do you capture?
Free users get up to 720p. Once at least one Premium user is recording the same streamer, quality upgrades to 1080p or the stream's maximum available resolution for everyone.
Can streamers or platforms see who records their streams?
No. LiveVods records streams anonymously from our servers. No user data is shared with streamers or platforms, and the process is completely confidential.
What happens when my Premium subscription expires?
Your followed streamers stay saved. You'll be limited to 3 of them on the free plan at 720p quality. Everything comes back instantly when you reactivate Premium.
